Hi, have you had any experience with the Kamakura PALPA fabric by any chance, how is it?
I’ve had 10 shirts made in various PALPA fabrics over the past 2 years. By far the most comfortable and functional non-iron fabric I’ve found. The Panama weave is my favorite.

I donn't see any links to these fabrics on the Luxire site.

We introduced our winter jeans last year. Made of recycled wool, these are machine washable and will last for many many winters.

The feedback has been amazing.
Some people found these a little itchy. So, we experimented with linings. Both cotton and viscose were tried. Both were liked.

Viscose was more comfortable through the day, more so when indoors or in an environment that was not as cold. It did feel a little cold when putting on but remained well regulated soon after.

Our idea was that people would wear just these throughout winter, like one wears normal jeans through the months otherwise.
These wool jeans seem to have hit that sweet spot.

Now available in 6 shades.

Speaking of this, can you tell me the difference between this 14oz recylced dark grey flannel for €220 and the other 15oz ones for €139?

The 14 Oz is from our older batch, slight difference in weave.

Really enjoy Luxire products but always struggle a bit to discern between all the fabrics.
Looking for a tan/khaki to mid-brown/caramel, 8 wale corduroy for some trousers.
I found the interesting Modrone Tobacco Brown but perhaps a bit light, material-wise, for corudory.
Ay other ideas, please' Luxire?

Does anyone know if I can purchase items now but provide details some time after new years? I have been meaning to send a few garments to Luxire for replication but haven’t gotten around to it and I might need them for the holidays.

Yes just put a comment in or send them an email after placing the order. I've done this in the past.

How do you prefer trousers to be finished?

  • Plain hem

  • Cuffed (1.5 inches or less)

  • Cuffed (more than 1.5 inches)

  • No preference, as long as the proportions work
