Looking for lighter weight good denim selvedge jeans, deep indigo. Any ideas re brand? Had Levi's 501 1947 but gave them up. Thanks. Drakes?

Looking for lighter weight good denim selvedge jeans, deep indigo. Any ideas re: brand? Had Levi's 501 1947 but too heavy. I like the look of Drakes. Size 34/36 length 32". Thanks.

The LVC 1947 is around 14oz. That's already considered lightweight unfortunately! You might want to look at some Italian makers instead. COF has a pair in 13oz and their cuts are very similar to what you'd find at Levi's.
