Perhaps they're not real boxer shorts. I shall monitor the situation.

Alex Kabbaz made good boxer shorts, and Emma Willis has them. But Alex is gone and Emma only uses Italian linen. Mercer isn’t interested. Any other options people have found?
Got mine at Mes Chaussette Rouge. Been thinking about trying to make my own as I just got a Singer 403. No progress yet though.

Mes Chaussettes Rouges (French for Boston Red Sox) sells shorts, but very lightweight linen.

I have two linen pair from Alex and they are special. I continue to buy the cotton shorts through his site and Joelle and Daniel are very gracious. Have you asked them about a custom pair in linen? Might be good to support them in their pinpoint shorts they have in stock. They are a great buy vs Turnbull and wear like iron. You should also try their Bresciani undershirts. Outstanding.

Can’t say. Given that they keep no inventory and don’t commit to a specific date, they are probably using random remnants of workers’ time, as well as the scraps left over from sheets.

Bresciani is very fine, but has a slightly small collar for the body size that fits.

When I asked about more pairs of the linen, they said they weren’t in that business anymore. Maybe they have rethought?

In any case, Linoto and Emma Willis seem to have solved much of my problem, and I have a few more names to explore if they **** the bed.

I ordered a pair of Linoto, too, thanks to @emptym.

I have some lands end cotton boxer shorts sized up (perhaps tad looser than I’d prefer but wearable) that’s comfortable around the home. Almost tossed the LE pairs but they’ve been clutch during the heat right now in the Bay Area. These linen pairs on the way now hopefully adds to the rotation. I wasn’t sure of sizing so went with one pair first before a possible bulk order. Kind of neat they’re “MTO”, I was wondering why it took awhile for my order to be shipped. No worries, not a huge rush.

@Concordia

Try the Bresciani tank top undershirts instead of the T-shirt’s. Get the wide strap. They are hard to beat compared to everything else out there.

I am confused about the value of tank tops. They don’t keep your underarms separate from shirts, or do that much of value except perhaps keeping your nipples from chafing.

They do all that and absorb moisture on hot days. Better for travel, too. And chicks dig them. I will never go back to t shirts for underwear. Just give them a try. Thank me later.

I like them and the size medium at 34” waist fits but I think I want more room in the seat. Hopefully size large will give me that. Or I’m not use to this fit, they’re quite trim IMO (the shape/cut is quite squared if that makes sense from waist down to the hem). Told my gf they’d make for some nice bf boxers around the house. I’d buy again in a size larger.

Haven’t tried what I think is my correct size yet, but going one over didn’t hurt at all. The elastic waistband covers every imprecision. So I will see what comes in the mail— but if necessary I will just get the huge ones.
