What is the name of that style of bag that is basically a smaller, streamlined duffle that sits on your back? leather sling bag?

I dunno, drawstring pants have been pretty present in Lemaire since the beginning. The elasticated pants and balloon sweats for example.
And he's thrown some crazy prints into most of his collections too.
I get that most associate Lemaire with a washed out, solid colour palette but I feel like this season is more of a throwback to his older stuff than an inspiration from somebody else.

And I know that's a lot of womenswear, but stuff like the Ikat prints and Paint Drop prints from the menswear were never on the runway or were just completely concealed under giant coats.

God bless this season, I love the prints and the colors on it. Right amount of subtlety to a print. I’m in love with paisley burgundy knitwear.

Yeah I know he's done a lot of prints before but they're almost always done in neutrals or softer palettes, compared to the strong red paisley sweater and the feather looking print. They're not ugly per se, but just not sitting well within the Lemaire vision of clothing.

As for the drawstring these ones are exposed and also has the elasticated part all the way around, compared to both the elasticated trousers and the balloon ones, which also features belt buckles (at least the elasticated ones does). This disrupts the clean flow often found in his relaxed tailoring, instead of cutting through it with a belt or letting the shirt flow seamlessly into it.

Yeah I have to agree, the outward drawstring sort of threw me off. Would never wear with shirt untucked, which can be deal breaker. As someone mentioned I think the Lemaire prints are still subtle compared to someone like DVN.

I strongly suspect the elastic drawstring trousers are in line with the urban / military theme at present. It's definitely relaxed but perhaps not "sophisticated-ly relaxed" if you know what I mean. Lol

I think the pants go well though.
