Hey guys, new member here (though I've been frequenting this thread for several months as a sort of reference in helping me find a decent leather jacket). I recently purchased one online and I need your eyes and opinions to help me decide whether I should keep it or continue looking. I bought two different sizes and the other one (not pictured) is too drapey on my arms and shoulders.

I am skinny and I like to wear clothes that fit close to the body/slim fit stuff. I like the simple styling and the material on this but I am undecided whether to keep it or not because the fit is very close when zipped close and I am worried that it might not be too comfy to layer with items thicker than tees. Plus should I gain a little bit more weight then the jacket might become too tight (though I read somewhere that leather jackets stretch a little over time with wear (?)).

Should I keep this one or continue searching?

(note to mods this post might appear more than once due to new member verification thinggy, if it happens I apologize in advance)

im thinking of going for a schott 613/618 for my perfecto needs.

does anyone have any real experience with them? all the fit pics i can find seem to be of marlon brando lol.

also if i am 5'5 110-115lbs should i go with their size 32 or 34?

i would have thought i would like a leather MA1 more, but i think its a bit ugly. Maybe this style looks better in fabric.

I wonder how this would look in wool rather than the cotton or polyester or whatever the other RO ma1 is made of.

I like those new ricks, although I doubt I will be picking up either of these. I am surprised that the mountain jacket looks good there, because I have seen other pics that made it look unappealing. I am getting used to the snaps.

bomber jacket looks cool but I would agree with AG, leather looks cheap, thin, and flimsy. would have guessed polyurethane

I can see why someone would not like the mountain jacket, but what is revolting about the ma1?

Oversized placket, exaggerated length, and the leather looks cheap across the entire line.

The MA-1's the least offensive of all of them, but it's all pretty bad.

the leather on the ma-1 is very nice in person, rubberized lamb
