Anyone have communication problems with Johnson's Leather? Has anyone found them 'difficult' to work with, particularly as of late?

Don't forget the tennis balls in the chest picture.Yup. I can't show the back. I'll post some pictures after I get home this weekend.

I heard the same. I sent in my measurements and the fit is great. They seemed to have nailed it.I have their trucker in goat.
From what I gather. The goat from five star is the only hide worth getting.
Mine was dialed in perfect too...I heard the same. I sent in my measurements and the fit is great. They seemed to have nailed it.
That's freaking cool!Mine was dialed in perfect too...
My brother bought a house up in Tahoe, so I just ordered this for him for Christmas.
I figured it would be cool to ski in.
Yes. I was worried going into it. I had read all the negative reviews. However, I'm extremely happy with the outcome. They nailed the fit. My experience is that Shawn & Fargham are complete professionals.^Do you like the 5star? Stock or mtm? First attempt? Anything you would change with the fit?
I have to wonder how they can afford to offer MTM at that price point. Yours looks fantastic! Love that collar. Did you specify the design elements or choose something off the rack?Yes. It is MTM and my first attempt.
I wouldn't change anything about the fit. The only thing that I might change is to add inside pockets. However, if that changes the silhouette, I would skip it.
I have been in New York this week and visited a bunch of stores and I got compliments from a bunch of SAs including at Ralph Lauren, The Armoury, & Officine Générale. I feel good about the fit. All wanted to know who made it.
Thanks.I have to wonder how they can afford to offer MTM at that price point. Yours looks fantastic! Love that collar. Did you specify the design elements or choose something off the rack?
Deja Vu...Thanks.
I started with this model, but changed the following:
Color: Seal brown (very dark brown much darker than the pictures on the website - prefer the actual color)
Zips: Antique brass with standard pulls (not chain pulls)
Buckles: Antique brass
Added knitted wool sleeve ends
Added quilted black lining
Custom sizing
It came out great. I am very happy with it. I think it will get some good fades with the seal brown. I'll post pictures over time.Deja Vu...
After I got the trucker, I started talking with them about getting this jacket next, or the 30s cafe with the horizontal chest zips, they are very close to each other.
And that I wanted Seal Brown.
How did that come out? Does it seem like it will get some fades?
What's up with the stitching on the upper ends of the zipper tape at the collar?Anyone pick up or got to try on one of the shearling bombers from the new 3sixteen x Schott collab? https://www.3sixteen.com/blogs/news/schott-for-3sixteen-modified-b-6-bomber It looks pretty dope and I'm interesting in hearing peoples' impressions.
