Hmmm....this discussion has made me realize: I don't own a navy leather jacket, or navy suede jacket, or a light grey leather jacket or a light grey suede jacket....and then there's burgundy....

Seriously, though. Construction wise, this is pretty much an ideal hat. Visor that wraps the entire face to block out the sun, plenty of room for longer or unkempt hair at the back so you don't get cap-head hair or want to hide things. Wonder why it went out of fashion.

Anderson & Sheppard's bespoke is about 3.5 years from your initial meeting, assuming you're based in the US and can't travel to see them.
I was just going through some stuff at the vacation house and found about a dozen old Anderson & Sheppard garment bags. Not leather ... but naugahyde ... well, plastic. I could cut a hole in the top and one in each side ... et voila ... A&S "leather" jacket.

That's an awesome bag. I don't think they use that anymore.
