how it looks to me. take the top 2, on the left our man is rolling his shoulders fwd , on the right the neck looks slightly forward etc. i don't think those are different patterns

How would posture change the positioning of the zipper relative to the front edge?

I get really sad when you guys talk about MMM 5-Zips because I used to have 2 that I loved with all my heart, but then I got to yolked / swole / str8 jacked and sized out of them.

The Rick Owens mentality of working out > clothes screwed me over

Eat cake.

You seem like the ideal customer for custom clothing, so I encourage you to go down this route.

neck-forward disallows hang in front, it will contact the front of the body all the way down and opens up a bit more than a shoulder-forward stance. the spine follows along you can see it in the pics. ask one of your tailors how they resolve *pigeon breasted*

your red line on the right looks foreshortened as it drapes out in the middle of the lapel. on the left this *flattens* to the camera as it hangs more directly off the front of the shoulder

If it was a postural issue, you would see everything swing away from the body or scissor in, not just the bottom half of the coat.

Anyway, I don't want to derail this thread from tennis ball talk.

^it's 100% different patterns. I've owned DR's with both the "X" and "regular opening' and found myself asking the same question. One thing for sure, it was not related to posture or positioning.
