If this guy can pull it off. Anyone can. Plus I don't like slp look head to toe. To me style is more about buying something you like and feel confident in....and DGAF worrying about it. it's all about confidence

It’s not about looking SLP head to toe. The SLP DRs tend to be styled with dudes with a skinny or slim frame. Fits that I am accustomed with, though limited, have cleaner drape on the sleeves. Probably your arms are more on the muscular side? Either way, enjoy wearing it.

That is one problem I have for sure, due to working out a lot. size wise I am more on the slim size with 28 inch waist....but 37 inch chest. So I think my proportions throw a lot of clothing off

Just received my Aero Board Racer. This jacket was made with Vicenza Horsehide. It is a bit stiff but is loosening up fairly quickly. I wish I could wear it out but living here in California it is already a bit to warm.

Jacket looks great! I'm also considering an Aero Board or Cafe Racer (or a Buco J-100) but I'm in Cali too and am worried about the thickness of horsehide. Is it pretty heavy and stiff? Did you ever consider going with their goatskin? I've heard that it could be more lightweight.

Thanks Sklounst.

It is a bit stiff but I think with some wear it is going to be perfect. It is heavier than I am used to as it is meant for riding but I am getting used to it. The quality of the jacket is second to none. By far the best leather jacket I have owned. I hear the goatskin is lighter but I didn't consider it as I really was interested in the Vicenza Horsehide and in the end I am glad I went with it. It will definitely last for decades and only get better over time.

Very nice jacket. Is that Seal Vicenza? Seems to be more on the red side. I am looking at getting an Aero half belt in Seal Vicenza or Dark Seal Vicenza but hoping for more of a brown to dark brown.

With that you'd better go custom. I also have a hard time with Rick even though I love his stuffs so much. I guess wearing designer clothes could turn out like wearing the other guy's shoes :satisfied:

Given the weight of the jacket, do you think it will be something you can wear year-round, or as close to year-round as possible?

Definitely something you can wear year round with the exception of the summer months. I guess it also depends on what part of California you live in. If you live in the Bay Area you could probably wear it all year round. I would say that 70 degrees would be the max temp.
