It's for professionals only, it sometimes happens that art or fashion students drop by, you have to subscribe to the fair & have a pass to be able to get in ! Do you have a specific piece in mind to be made in deadstock fabrics ?
Most all of the trouser styles would be fun to see in interesting deadstock fabrics, I think. Traveller jacket could be nice to see in some more patterned fabrics that might not be as feasible to do a full production run of.

I like my Mechanician jacket in spring summer—I have the taupe wool/linen from a few seasons back. I've always wondered how the big collar would look/stand with a more substantial FW fabric. (Though since it seems it is unlined, it might be more complicated to make it in some FW fabrics? Perhaps not a simple 1:1 translation.)

Turin shop tips?
Hi everyone I am in Turin and would need some help to find nice shops. I guess there are no ones having DBF but I post here since I am a DBF-enthusiast and in the absence of that french favourite looking for brands such as Barena or Doppiaa. I am very grateful for any tips.
Best regards

Hi everyone - slightly new to this thread. I have a two pockets work overshirt jacket in plum Belgian linen size 46 that I want to find another home for it.

New and never worn. Bought it when it first came out, and its really a lovely piece but I have never got around to wearing it as it’s slightly casual for what I usually wear.

Retail for 395 euros but I’m willing see this go for 345 euros + shipping (airmail with tracking). Currently ship from UK. If you’re interested get in touch.

Any chance you'll run the oversized pea coat in navy again this fall?

Hello, I'm looking for some sizing/fit info for the Maquignon jacket! Sizing seems a bit conflicting on different websites. Some say to size down a lot but I'm not sure! I'm 5'6" 160lbs. I have the voiles ships linen camp collar shirt in an M size that fits perfectly. I also have a couple linen oversized t-shirts in size M and they fit perfectly as well. Should I got true to size, perhaps one size down? I'm really in love with the jacket and just want to make sure before I purchase, thanks!

Second, I (David) did a shoot a few days ago in Paris, presenting four seasonal silhouettes and wearing several pieces of our exclusive Alpine capsule: https://debonnefacture.fr/collections/alpine

The result is here:

Some extra pictures attached :)

Have a nice weekend!

David, going quite a ways back here...how did you go with sizing on the cable knit? Is it a more relaxed fit than other FW knitwear?

Hi, we are reorganizing our marketing team :) The cable knit is bulkier than most of our knitwear but fits true to size if you like that bulky fit !

Hey guys! Curious if anyone has washed their honeycomb knit polos. I've got a navy one that I hand washed cold and dried flat, but had some issues with it stretching out a bit in length as well as bunching up in odd spots. I've had some success pinning it while damp to reshape some of the bunchy spots, but there's still some odd shape issues. I also picked up the mustard one when I saw it on Ssense sale, but I'm wary about washing that one now. Does anyone have any advise for washing finicky knits like this? Absolutely love the piece, and would love to keep that shape.

I would say go true to size. It’s a relaxed fit and more of a mid-weight sweater than a heavy Aran knit. It’s advertised as merino wool but is a little more itchy than most merino wools I’ve worn.

M fits me well so I have a L I’m planning on returning if anyone wants it.

Any chance the traveler jacket will make a return this F/W? Had the opportunity to try on a Yak wool version (unfortunately a size too big) and love the concept.
