(602) 635-7449 is this number that was on their website when I took the screenshot and is currently on their Instagram (where they recently posted that custom denim orders will all be made with "our classic brown thread and copper buttons." I wonder if that includes black pairs. Hope not.

As someone who received his order: cancel your order.  It's not worth it.  The fabric you ordered is probably great, but the construction isn't a good advertized.  My pants had details that weren't advertised and didn't have details that were.  For waiting as long as I did, it's not worth it, even at the price.  There's a weird twist to the seams on the legs, and on the right side more than the left.  The hems weren't chainstiched at all. Etc. Etc.

Even in sanforized denim, leg twist isn't necessarily indicative of a flaw; it's a common characteristic of right-hand or left-hand twill. If you really hate leg twist, your best bet is to go for a broken twill selvedge, like these: https://www.blueowl.us/product/japa...n-twill-in-indigobeige-tapered-model-jb0-430/

I decided to ask for a refund yesterday. Called and emailed it it. I'll post when I hear from them.

Held out for a long time, but the Instagram post about stitching and buttons being standardized made me pick the refund -- that and Sal saying they probably would prefer to give those out at this point. I ordered mainly to help a new company that seemed to be aiming for excellence. Hope they're able to catch up and start off again on firm footing.

I allegedly have a pair on the way, although I have yet to receive a tracking number.

As an update on this, I did actually receive a pair of jeans.

After a very lengthy email exchange where I made very clear multiple times that I ordered a 32 straight and expected to receive a 32 straight - including confirming several times that I did not want a slim-straight - I received a pair of jeans with no size tag, garment tag, or any other identifying information beyond the Lawless-stamped leather patch. Lo and behold, I measure them and they are spot-on to the 32 slim-straight measurements posted on the site. They straight-up lied to me about what they were sending and, I'm guessing, removed the tags hoping that I wouldn't be able to tell the difference. Unbelievable.

However, even though it's not quite the fit I was looking for from the 32 straight, they do fit and I like how they look. The construction quality seems certainly not as good as advertised and somewhat below Gustin, but I will admit I'm not the best judge and I've never had a 13oz Italian selvedge before, so the fabric is different than the coarser/heavier Japanese and Cone Mills stuff I've had on my last few pairs of jeans and that might influence how I perceive the stitching and details.

So my Lawless saga is finally over. Good riddance.

I think it's safe to say that with all the negative publicity on the internet, it's going to be virtually impossible for Lawless to succeed at this stage.

Thought some would be interested in ONE of Mr. Lawless' prior belly up business ventures so I present you the link below:

http://www.phoenixnewtimes.com/arts...wn-studio-ra-yoga-in-downtown-phoenix-6573936

I especially like the following quote:

"We recently sat down with Roman to learn more about his studio and the benefits of aerial yoga.

What first piqued your interest in yoga, before getting into aerial?
Yoga started for me in 2000. It was really just another part of my exercise routine, other than typical weight training. I heard a lot of benefits about it. I struggled at the time with anxiety and subtle panic attacks and was told that might be a good way to go, because unfortunately they wanted to put me on medication like they do with everybody. The minute you say you have anxiety, they want to give you a drug. I said there's got to be a better way, so I started doing yoga, and it's been great ever since. So I keep it up because it helps physically and mentally; it keeps me balanced."

I suspect Mr. Lawless is experiencing non-stop anxiety and subtle (maybe even major) panic attacks these days so I hope he still has some of his rope yoga stuff available.

does anyone have any luck getting a refund or a reply to emails? F***ers won't answer anymore.
From what i know there is nothing to give bud. Last i heard they were trying to get funds to be able to refund people as well as finish orders for those who are willing to accept RTW items.

Something is not right if they can get away with this mass scam.......
Hey man. It's been a long time.

Not to defend Lawless Denim, since I know nothing about the situation, but I hear the word "scam" being thrown around all too often. Businesses go bankrupt all the time, and creditors and cudstomers are both left hanging. Is it a good situation? No, but neither is it a scam, which implies nefarious intent. Being a crap businessman and being a criminal are completely different things.

Well since you don't know anything about the situation let me clue you in: Roman is both. Doubt me? Why don't you use google and check out the posts by Roman's former employees (they left) over at Proboards Lawless forum. Until then you should probably shut up since tens of thousands of dollars of people's money has been stolen through his continual lies and deception. This sounds mean, but on this forum, talking about LD when you don't know about it -- it's like defending Bernie Madoff with 'guys, don't jump to conclusions'. No one here is doing that. It's a done deal. He lied about what he was doing and took money and has now disappeared. If that's not plain enough: either you're Laura, Roman, or just another uninformed, self-righteous idiot. Me? He stole 400 dollars from me a year ago. So yeah, shut up if you don't know what you're talking about.

I get that you're pissed but you could've made your point without telling LA Guy (of all people) to shut up. Good luck with that.
