I have a ripstop gold ring coat in the mail through Zenmarket and I get a notice today that the brushed cotton in khaki is available. Damn. I dont need two of these.

Maybe I buy both and flip the one I don't like as much?

Well these look like they're going to be amazing.
These look stunning. Can't wait.

Anyone know the price or if any proxies can help with the pre-order? I checked with StylisticsJapan and he said he doesn't do pre-orders for Kapital.

I would decide based on your lifestyle and where you live. The ripstop is lighter and will be more wearable if you live somewhere warm year round. Ripstop is also more durable based on how it is woven.

Okay, I've been trying to sell my Ring Coat on Grailed but it's a nightmare. It's this one I bought off Kamote Joe:

Size 1. I've hardly worn it, so it's in exactly the same condition. $250 US + P&P from Ontario (which will be about $20 US, I think).

PM me.

How about 2/3rds of that asking price?

Looks like they're doing pre-sales of the new century denim in the Roppongi store. I walked by on my way to a thing and saw a couple people trying on different sizes.

Might stop by tomorrow to check it out in person.

Stopped by the Roppongi store where they're doing a preorder event for the No. 9's. They had both the jeans and jacket to try on "new" as well as a "worn" version. I only tried on the jeans and they were priced at ¥32,000 or so (my Japanese isn't super good).

The base is a dark indigo/gray (couldn't tell with the lighting) and the "sashiko" threads are a very dark gray/pale black. From far away it's a lot more subtle than the other Century patterns especially when new. The worn pair's pattern was more pronounced but still more muted than the other patterns imo. Would make a good pair of dark pants. The worn pair didn't have any fading on it as I believe it was just washed a couple times as opposed to actually being worn.

As mentioned in Instagram post, comes out in February.

¥32,000 seems like such a deal for the new Century denim here in the states.
