So, after wearing a Kamakura shirt for a day, I can unequivocally say that they're my new favorite shirtmaker. The fabric is very nice, and the collar is just perfect. For $79 I would order loads more, but I'm not sure whether I like paying that 40% import tax.

May I propose the new shipping route then...

1. Japan to US (no import duty on your lucky day)
2. US to Mexico (NAFTA)
3. Mexico to Uruguay (bi-lateral)
4. Uruguay to Brazil (bi-lateral)

if your order is big enough, I am sure it can be competitive against a 90% custom tax, and of course I am kidding

Happened upon the store yesterday. A number of linen shirts for $99. As I was schvitzing from my walk across Midtown, I was sorely tempted as I have wanted to buy linen dress shirts for sometime. Anyone with any experience with their linen shirts?

Some more. This is the darker of the 2 blue oxfords. Only been washed once, and I can only assume the collar will get better with age.

How are their Tokyo slim fit shirts around the arms?Is there more space around th earms than SuitSupply shirts. I had to take an SS shirt back because it was too tight around my arms.

can anyone comment on sizing, it states on the website that the shirts are about .5 bigger in the sleeve length and collar to account for shrinkage during washing. does this seem to be the case, and if so what is the size like after laundering?

These are fantastic look shirts. Really going to have to stop in and take a look.

Very confused about the sizing though... The neck measurements are odd choices for instance (why not half inches?).

I picked up two Tokyo slim shirts last week. They look and feel fantastic and the neck and sleeves fit me to a T.

Unfortunately, the fit in the torso was very close and I'm afraid that they may become too tight after washing. Time to hit the gym!

My experience with their OCBDs is mixed. Same cloth, but one shirt shrunk imperceptibly and the other perceptibly. Not a great deal, certainly not 0.5in, but a bit more than the other. FWIW
