I have a pair of John Lobb Oake.
Please study the Pictures as they form part of description.
I bought these for just under a $1,000 and retail for $1,560. They are under the Prestige range
I have only tried them in the house and are essentially brand new.
They are R meaning reject. But I cant possibly point where the fault is, as I have inspected them and can hardly see anything wrong .
According to John Lobb's explanation and in quote ;
"John Lobb shoes are made to the highest standards and sometimes the very strict quality control will reject an occasional pair due to a slight quality issue. They are stamped inside the lining with R or S to indicate this. We have carefully checked every pair and found that this is minimal and it’s usually a leather quality issue which does not detract from the beauty of these fine shoes and will not affect the wear in any way whatsoever"
To reflect this I am offering these wonderful pair at a discounted price. THEY are SOLD OUT and John Lobb have no intention of making the OAKE double monk again.
Happy to send more pictures on request. Sadly they wont come with with the shoe trees but only with their dust bags and cloth as bought.
