I was going to ignore the color comments but what else do i have to do these days?. Unfortunately I don't have the original box, I bought them pre-owned. I do remember (I think :puzzled:) Parisian brown misty as the color stated. I looked up some samples and took some more photos in different light. Bottom line, there can be many variations of a stated color based on different leather batches and lighting conditions.

Sorry if already explained a 100 times.

Could you explain the main differences between the prestige line (let's say phillip II) and the classic line (let's say city II) ?
Except for the lasted shoe trees and the colour of the sole.

many thanks in advance

I have a brand-new, in box, pair of black City IIs in size 11UK which I will sell to anyone within the US for $800 shipped. Comes with dust bags and extra laces. I have only tried on (can provide pics if needed). I purchased from Italist, who wish to charge me an exorbitant amount to return them, so I'm just trying to cut my losses.

If you purchase from them at the current offered price the total will be about $850 shipped, depending on state tax (which they charge), plus customs duties on delivery, as this is above the $800 threshold. So, comparatively, I'd say I'm offering a good deal.

Contact me if you're interested. If you are international, we can discuss.

I wear the same size in Rain and the 4395 (Lopez) but I have a narrow, low volume and low instep foot. As @likenoother said, I feel the Lopez is a generous last at the instep.

How do you prefer trousers to be finished?

  • Plain hem

  • Cuffed (1.5 inches or less)

  • Cuffed (more than 1.5 inches)

  • No preference, as long as the proportions work
