in regards to the polartec, like it was mentioned, it is very thick & warm. It's made for winter months, in a climate where there's an actual winter (like Southern Ontario for example). Don't think I will ever be wear it in the summer or even the spring. I think it's an outstanding piece, well constructed, and an awesome design. Incredibly unique of course, and I didn't expect less from JE. I have the maroon/cream one and I think it is nicer than the olive one which my friend has. The maroon/black combo is outstanding and I think I'll actually wear it more with the sherpa side out though (wasn't expecting that).

In regards to the sherpa, I actually think the cream/polartec sherpa is more wearable for me personally than the black sherpa lining of the bolivia for example. It is less "swaggy" in my view (can't think of a better term), and I feel less like Rick James wearing that side out in public. I think it looks great and is easier to pull off personally. For the bolivia sherpa, I mostly wear that side around the house or if I'm chilling.

One final note, the dracula-neck/turtleneck part is an incredible touch and makes the piece stand out from a regular fleece or half zip. It makes me like the piece more than I would have. It can be worn unzipped, partially zipped, or fully zipped and it looks good all ways in my view.

I went with medium (usually a L in outwear) and it fits perfectly. A L would have been definitely way too OS I think. I hope this helps. Will try to get pics up.

Y'all making me interested in this Polartech stuff but I need to sell off a few JE pieces that are just sitting that I originally thought would see more action. Bolivia and Aluminum Flight Jacket never get worn despite being cool pieces.

Supposedly polartec sweats will not be sold on JE's site..so I think wherever it is available now is the only spot you'll be able to get it.

Yeah, my main concern was to see if I could get these in an XS so I contacted JE CS..and the response was "We do not have plans to sell the Polartec Sweats on our site"

Figured I'd throw that on here in case anyone was holding off on buying it
