I know I asked this a long time ago but didn't get many answers so here it goes again. I have a pair of Cast/Coast in size 29 that fit me very well in the legs and are just the tiniest bit loose in the waist (not a problem at all for me). The Coasts are pretty much skin tight in the calves, I can't pinch/pull fabric away, and slim in the thighs. Basically, they fit perfect for what I want.

Now I'm looking to purchase a pair of Cast/Cobalts because I need some dark denim that isn't black. How much does JE denim really stretch? Would a pair of 28 Cobalt's stretch out all over to the size of the 29 Coasts or even looser, or will only the waist stretch? I ski quite a bit and try to go to the gym so I'm worried about them being super tight in the calves. The only other pair of raw denim I own is some APC PS's which fit me in the waist but have a larger leg opening than I like. Dior 17.5 is my all-time favorite fit but it's tough to stumble upon a wash I want, and I don't like the way SLP 17cm fits me. I'm stuck between going ahead and getting the size 28 Cobalts, or waiting it out until 29's become available whenever that may be.

On a side note, I would really love the pitch black Villain to come back sometime soon..

In my experience having three pair of JE jeans. The coast runs a size smaller meaning that yes, a size 28 cobalt would equal a size 29 coast.

Had the absolute privilege of checking out JE's fall/winter 15' look book today.... Absolute fire. Some solid pieces that you wouldn't even expect to come from JE, ever

Anyone interested in a hooded villain in sand? Just tried on, the large is a little too big for my liking. Can trade for a medium or sell.

I ended up finding a great deal on a pair of 28's just last night so I went ahead and ordered them, can't wait to get em in.
