I just got home and am really disappointed in the Point Sur Check Hemi. I love the elderberry one I have because its so thick and has legit weight to it. The Point Sur Check just feels like a normal extremely lightweight flannel, almost like the straight hem ones. I am definitely returning this. Which of the overweight hemi shirts are supposed to be thick like elderberry? I see people talking about Honey.

Pricing is good, but to make a direct comparison between brand offerings would be a mistake. This isn’t an apples to apples comparison. There are many factors you need to consider like type of cotton (open ended cotton vs combed, etc etc), weight, French vs fleeced, and the list goes on and on. You can make a dirt cheap heavy weight sweatshirt, doesn’t mean it will be good and a lot of brands aren’t open to discussing the intricacies of the fabrics they use. So beware when you just see weights or gsm, there is more to the story than just that.
Couldn’t agree more with this. I’ve been seeing it more and more lately especially within this thread it seems as though the weight of a garment is being associated with quality. Higher weight equaling higher quality at times could be the furthest thing from the truth.

Where are located? How did you already receive yours when several of us haven’t even received a shipping notification?
This time it was definitely luck tbh, it’s usually not this quick lol. I’m located in NYC so it takes 5 days to reach me. I had a shipping notification a few hours after the order though.

@jclark216 you getting the coat before me lol, mine just shipped first
