The Weston Hunt Derby--one of the truly iconic men's shoes. The size written in the shoes (see picture) is 9 1/2D, which must translate into either a US 10D or even 10.5D. Length along sole: 12 3/8"; width at widest part of sole: 4 1/2"; insole: about 11 1/4". Handmade in France, with a massive triple sole, Norwegian welt, hand-stitched vamp with waxed linen thread, and steel toe insert. Color: medium brown. I added the Topy sole and Vibram heel just after purchase, as I didn't want the steel heel insert to scratch hardwood floors.
Condition: almost new. Worn perhaps 5-6 times. These shoes will last almost forever given their incredible construction and almost-new condition. I have a 9 1/2 narrow foot and hoped I could make these work with a thick insole and heel pad, but they just didn't feel right--simply too large--hence for sale. Shoes come with shoe trees.
Pricereduced) $599 shipped to any North American destination. Slightly more for International destinations (calculated for the country). Current retail for this shoe is $2000.00, and they very rarely go on sale. I believe that this is the most expensive shoe made by Weston.
