For anyone interested in the inspiration for these frames ‘The Kid Stays In The Picture’ is an excellent book about behind the scenes Hollywood in the seventies. The film is OK too.

I also recently watched ‘The Offer’ about the making of ‘The Godfather’. It’s a decent watch but no way did it need ten episodes. Matthew Goode steals every single scene with a bang on impression of Robert Evans - and seemingly a different style of frames in each episode!

Brand new Yellowstone Druid Lodgepole. Comes with the original glass polarized lenses but a little too paranoid to try to put them back in myself. Looking for $580 shipped OBO.

The beau colorway is very interesting. In real life it looks almost black from the front but when you look from different angles the havana will start to show.
Im still not sure what lense color im going to choose, im torn between light blue like the hickory fade lenses and dark olive at the moment.

Nice model and very good fit. You won't go wrong with either of the lens colours you're considering. although I would choose the original JMM one called Nimbus.

Well, I have to admit, I'd never watched the 'The Offer' but after reading your post, I took it upon myself to binge it over the weekend, and well, I friggin loved it! Matthew Goode is just awesome and his charisma along with his captivating voice just had me sucked in from the start. Thank you TWD :slayer:

How do you prefer trousers to be finished?

  • Plain hem

  • Cuffed (1.5 inches or less)

  • Cuffed (more than 1.5 inches)

  • No preference, as long as the proportions work
