Paris has a lot of JMM AD's, around 20. The biggest chain is Marc Le Bihan, they have like 6 locations in Paris. I remember I was at Kith last year and they have a decent selection as well.Going to Paris next month- what’s the best place for jmm selections, esp LFs. And do you get VAT back? Thx
jumping in here, but i messaged you about these if they're available? i've been looking for a pairI have a Taos Vader I’d sell if you’re interested. Matte black
I often update my favorite frames that I wear most frequently...
Lately, I would put these frames at the top of the list, although the ranking tends to vary a lot.
Tramonto Agar
Torino Dark Havana
Torino Havana
Heywood Black fade
Heywood Black
Wesley black
Heywood is a frame that really surprised me. I bought it blindly, and it doesn’t look as good in photos, but I highly recommend it to everyone. Plus, it’s very versatile.
Edit: I had forgot the Torino Ash, which has been my absolute favorite for almost 10 years now... archive photo because it's in the car
Thanks. Unfortunately, having a large face means I always have to buy wide glasses. This limits me because there are so many small frames that are stunning. For example, even with the Molino, I’m already at the limit, so much so that I always go for the 55 variant. My collection is a bit monothematic—I have 14 Torino frames I’d really love to wear other models too, but they look small, and I don’t like them. I make an exception for the Borodino, Pasolini and the FelliniVery nice, carefully curated collection. It's pretty evident your preference for large models.
That Torino Ash is really stunning. So bad that JMM didn't use the colourway more extensively.
Marc Le Bihan, LM Opticien and The Next Door. The latter got some vintage tort frames in stock. Regarding LFs, it would probably be best to call or contact stores to see what they've got in stock, preferably a Marc Le Bihan since they've got so many branches.Going to Paris next month- what’s the best place for jmm selections, esp LFs. Another frames I adore: Cash, Enzo, Duke and DruidVery nice, carefully curated collection. It's pretty evident your preference for large models.

Quite surprised that you don't have (or mention) the Hemmings, it seems perfect for wide faces..
I tried it several times, but I don't like the temple arm, or rather the step that forms in the middle of the arm when it becomes thinner.
That's a bummer. I don't ever carry a case with mine. I just hang one temple over my collar. I'm going to COSTCO today. I hope I'm not jinxing myself.Horrific experience today...
Leaving Costco pushing my cart back to the car.
I went over that rubber knobby section and I heard something hit behind me.
It was my hard case containing my Enzos. My Enzos that I just paid to have custom colored lenses installed. They were sitting on the cart seat and snuck between the gap and fell.
The scary part was the JMM hard case sprung OPEN at impact and my Enzos were laying bare-assed on the black top.
It was like those horror movies were you stare in terror and the hallway behind you stretches into infinity.
On inspection, there wasn't a mark on them.
I couldn't believe it.
Be careful with that approach - I used to do that until a pair slipped out when I bent over to help my kid put on a coat (and scratched the lenses on concrete). Now I rest them on top of my head instead. That's a bummer. I don't ever carry a case with mine. I just hang one temple over my collar. I'm going to COSTCO today. I hope I'm not jinxing myself.
Fortunately, all my three children are adults. The first 30 years are the hardest.Be careful with that approach - I used to do that until a pair slipped out when I bent over to help my kid put on a coat (and scratched the lenses on concrete). Now I rest them on top of my head instead.
