Correct, KAINE

If I had to choose, I would also lean towards brown, but always Havana. Hickory has never really appealed to me, maybe because it's transparent.

Hello, after browsing for a while I've just made an account for this question.
Just received today a pair of hickory Heywood frames in the mail, and serial number on the frames (10-350) does not match the sticker and the card (130-350).

Anyone here ever experience this?
I had also ordered a pair of Taos from the same web dealer and everything had matching numbers, I just returned them because they were too small.
The frames feel entirely authentic, as does the whole package. So I'm thinking some kind of mixup happened somewhere in the chain.
Also missing from the package is this little baggie with a tag (picture taken from previous post in this thread):

I've also written to JMM customer service, but the concern is they won't come back with an answer within my return period.

Normally for items such as this, this would be enough for me to straight away return them for a refund, but they are so nice and fit me perfectly.

Everything looks correct. The Heywoods don't come with the extra QR tag since, as seen in your photo, they put it on the numbered card. As for the mismatched numbers: I'm fairly certain that is not the first instance of that occurring in this thread. If you reach out to JMM they may be able to send you a correctly numbered card. (Someone else here may want to confirm, first.)

Everything seems ok IMO. Probably the webpage you ordered had more than one unit of this specific colorway and mixed yours with the box of another unit (probably the one they had on display).
If I may ask, where did you purchase them from?

As you know, I have 2 Heywoods. In one of the packages (black one), there was the QR tag... I think they messed up at the store.

Thanks for the replies, settles my nerves a little.
I ordered them from Miinto, which is a platform like Farfetch for stores to sell through.
Looking at the shippers address on the box, they were dispatched from an office building in the city of Koper Slovenia.

Yes, in your case, the people who shipped the glasses messed up. It's not the first time this has happened; it's always better to notice it right away. As they suggested, you can return it and buy it elsewhere or contact JMM, hoping they can send you another certificate with the correct number.

Interesting. You may have received a little bonus.

Just to be sure I wasn't giving @JHolden incorrect information I went and pulled down the box for the black fade Heywoods I got direct from JMM and there is no tag. The registration QR code usually on the tag is printed on the numbered info card as shown in their photos.

I would return it and buy elsewhere if it were not for the sweet 20% off I got through a sitewide Miinto promotion. Hoping JMM customer support can do a little magic with a new card. Let's see.

Yes, I also believe that there shouldn't be any QR code in the packaging because it is printed on the limited edition certificate. However, my black version has it, while the black fade version does not.

Horrific experience today...

Leaving Costco pushing my cart back to the car.
I went over that rubber knobby section and I heard something hit behind me.
It was my hard case containing my Enzos. My Enzos that I just paid to have custom colored lenses installed. They were sitting on the cart seat and snuck between the gap and fell.
The scary part was the JMM hard case sprung OPEN at impact and my Enzos were laying bare-assed on the black top.
It was like those horror movies were you stare in terror and the hallway behind you stretches into infinity.
On inspection, there wasn't a mark on them.
I couldn't believe it.
