I love the Ash colourway, such a pity it hasn't been used more.

The new Druid YS in the LODGEPOLE color should actually be an ASH in disguise. I called my trusted optician and asked them to put one aside for me—I'll go buy it on Monday.

Yes, it looks like Ash: Yellowstone models have differently named colourways.

Unfortunately, I'm not into classic (teardrop shaped) aviators.

Hoping to see more of it in the future.

Yesterday rewatched the movie They Live and noticed that the glasses used by the protagonists to spot the aliens look very similar to the Ritz Cortina model.

Do you think that by buying the Ritz, we might also be able to uncover the aliens living among us?

Already arrived yesterday, pretty fast.. No delay and no additional costs due to customs clearance (unlikely my first purchases from JIM'S official website).

Extremely pleased with them. I like the frame and how it looks on me, really cool. I would prefer no medallions, but the temples are nicer than those on the Evans in my eyes.

Some of my favourites, and sunkiss is really underrated IMO. It just doesn’t picture well, you have to see them in person to fully aporeciate them.

I dropped my Ichikawas and Kellermans off at Costco Optical last week to get the RX treatment. They just called and said their were rejected because of the material. I guess the acetate was too powerful =(

Yeah I was thinking the same thing.
A few years ago before I discovered JMM (Jacques Marie Mage) I was growing bored of RayBans (my gateway drug!)) and was casting about for something more exotic. I came across Retrosuperfuture. Never did buy any but they were doing a ‘flat top’ model very similar to yours at the time that looked cool. I think I never took it any further as even then I was acutely aware of having to try on sunglasses to make sure they look as good in real life as they do on the internet and there was nobody anywhere near me who stocked them.

I first was able to try on JMMs when I was in the Fort Lauderdale area. Between there and Miami there are a number of retailers including several Edward Beiners. Over here in the Tampa Bay Area there is one! The fella there is a nice guy but complains that he’s always last in the rep’s circuit so he never gets the pick of the bunch - so it’s unlikely I can go there and try on any newly released JMMs I have to wait till I’m travelling to MIA / FLL.
