Well I went ahead and ordered the Taos in Vader colorway

perhaps a boring color scheme but much of my clothes are black or white. May eventually get some tortoise frames or even exchange for them if this doesn’t end up being good

I also considered these green Chrome Hearts sunglasses but they were 400 dollars more and it was hard to justify at that price point

Will post pics once they arrive. Bought them sight unseen as no one locally has much JMM inventory - though that will also add to the allure and intrigue for me

I wonder if they’re the biggest?
It’s hard to tell sometimes.
The Taos seemed big to me and then I got the Enzo which are even bigger, but look good to me.
the Saville and Yves both sound big, but measurements are actually similar to the gemming. I guess there’s a lot more to it than just the measurements. Like the thickness and width of the acetate, the colour, the angles.

I seem to remember someone in the other sunglasses thread saying that they reached out to JMM and were told that the Hemmings is indeed their widest frame. I'm kinda disappointed in the look of them, and think that David Hemmings deserved a cooler looking frame to be named after him--but I guess it's all subjective.

I'm very close to saying "*******" and ordering teh Yves. The one thing that holds me back is teh height of teh frame (not sure if that's teh correct term for the lens vertically). The one rule in eyewear that I follow is that I don't like the bottom the frame to touch my check when I smile.

Congrats. I see what you mean about the colorway being boring ,but let's keep it real black sunglasses are deadly.
