I kind of take back what I said. Last time I will do mail in lenses. Not sure about the process of measurements but he did have me send pics of the frames on my face. They have a great channel for ideas, but I felt like everything after the consult was an upsell. Get everything tinted and with a coating on it. Not sure how that works with optical pairs that aren't fully used for just sun. Lesson learned.I am obsessed with the Spectacle factory. Robert seems extraordinarily knowledgeable. I’d like to try to use their services, but I am in the Midwestern United States, and I’m a bit leery about going through the time and expense of ordering high-end custom lenses when they can’t take my exact measurements in person. How did they go about getting the appropriate measurements for your frames and prescription?
I'm thinking of pre-ordering the new Aida's. I'm more of a titanium guy, and those look really unique.
Haha my thoughts exactly! How the fook you put out a whole new collection but the Ashcroft is still in “pre-order” …..cmon Jerome
I want to like these, and maybe it's the lighting or pic but they look like cheap plastic.New models online for the Vanishing Point campaign! This one is interesting to me...

They're beveled titanium.I want to like these, and maybe it's the lighting or pic but they look like cheap plastic.
Thin metallic frames give off a "cheap" look.I want to like these, and maybe it's the lighting or pic but they look like cheap plastic.
It's literally a smaller version of the Kubrick 1980 with identical temples, but minus the top bridge with some extra bevel.I want to like these, and maybe it's the lighting or pic but they look like cheap plastic.
I despise the whispy temples of most JMM titanium frames. They certainly feel cheap and unbalanced weight-wise on the head compared to my T-Henri titanium frames.Thin metallic frames give off a "cheap" look.
JMM's strength is always in thick acetate.
I held one of JMM's titanium frames, and it was very flexible and lightweight.
The material was "better" than acetate in terms of strength, flexibility, being lightweight.
The problem was it felt chintzy and cheap in the hand, and the overall aesthetic on my face looked very niche.
Not familiar with this brand, but the frames look cool from what I could find.I despise the whispy temples of most JMM titanium frames. They certainly feel cheap and unbalanced weight-wise on the head compared to my T-Henri titanium frames.
