Agree. The only way to know for sure is to try them on. Going solely by numbers, a similarly sized JMM frame is the Devaux.
Unfortunately, the only authorized dealer within 50 or so miles from me is is not very hospitable, so I don't get a lot of opportunities to try frames on.

Fair enough. I always take written word very literally because it doesn’t convey the nuance of human interaction irl (in real life).

FWIW (for what it’s worth), I went back to research page 200 and before, and there aren’t a lot of people active now who were active then.
Quick tip for your posting style:
If you’re gonna relentlessly use abbreviations but then always spell out what the abbreviations stand for, it kinda negates the very purpose of using abbreviations. In most cases it’s obvious anyway.
Jus’ sayin’

To be honest, I hate abbreviations. English is not my mother tongue and many acronyms are obscure to me, besides impoverishing the language.

Agreed but you do well enough with English.
What’s your first language? Can’t remember if you said you were German somewhere before?

Sorry. I know I’ve been on a posting rampage here, but I have one more observation. Have all my friends here noticed that the JMM (Jacques Marie Mage) world wide website has stopped showing every frame on a model? There was a rugged looking feller who used to be the standard model for all frames. It helped gauge size, for me a least. I’ll bet it’s a cost saving measure for more profit. Just a hunch.

Your English is superb. I thought you were a native speaker. Bravo! And yes. Abbreviations do impoverish the language. I hate them, but I use them because I try to stay socially relevant in my old age. Also, I spell them out because not everyone knows them. There’s an assumption out there among people who use acronyms that everyone knows them. Well, that isn’t true. It’s a method of language that excludes and marginalizes.

Yes, very bothering that the pictures with the frame on a model miss in so many cases recently. Of course it's not decisive, but gives an orientation nonetheless.

Strangely attracted by this Ava Tan with those crazy lenses. Extravagant but gorgeous.

Looks like a Fontainebleau with cornered bottom outer edges.

Love this color combination as well. Here's to hoping they use this on some other frames that I desire in their lineup. I wish I could pull off their evolved devaux, but sadly feel that it will be a complete miss for me.

I've actually tried this in person, including the camel and lotus versions. Iirc there are 5 colorways, though the JMM website only lists 3. To me, these frames strongly resemble the Devaux, with the exception of the cornered bottom you noted.

Anyone who likes the Devaux/Loewy would probably like the Ava, though they're very very similar imho

The Camel would be nice as well. Yes, I love the Devaux. Oddly, I like very different shaped and sized frames, rather small as the Devaux and pretty huge like Hemmings and Kobo.
