Damn I want a pair. I'm only ever in SF for a few days at a time though.

Ditto. But be there May 4-5, and stay at the W, and you might even get a free pair.

John from Jack/Knife here. Thank for the love everybody, all of y'alls kind words mean the world to us.

Just to answer some of the latest questions... We have access to made in the USA donut hole buttons, we just prefer to stock our made in the USA laurel leaf copper buttons.

And we have made in the USA workwear style cat eye buttons for our shirts, but we are always looking for new, quality hardware. Especially anything made in Japan.

Hey John, Gus says you've had some trouble contacting me. I haven't gotten an email, but I sent one a couple days ago. Hope to see you soon!

They would like to know about them. They were also looking for quality Japanese or American buttons for work shirts recently. They kept running into stuff that was made in China. So if you know of any good suppliers of buttons or hardware can you pass them along? I'm sure they would appreciate it.

It appears they have at least part of it under control. I'm sure these guys are familiar with other MIUSA brands that also source domestically and it's usually not too hard to get names in this incestuous industry.

Don't mean to be cryptic but my original intent wasn't to name names but rather to impress that the OP's request wasn't as impossible as he had believed. I try not to be in the business of sharing information that may have been given to me off the record from friends in competing companies who in turn try to keep it from each other since they were in J/K's shoes at one point.

But sign me up for customs with cowboy pockets! I'd love to see anything other than Cone.

I've been wearing mine most days since late February without a rinse or a wash. The denim has been super comfortable since day one. It has a much more comfortable feel to it than any other premium raw denim that I've ever tried.

I just returned from hiking around in the desert and a day in San Francisco so I put them out in the sunshine this morning to air out. I can see some nice fading and whiskers beginning to develop.

Looking good, PSG! I'll post mine tonight.

My second pair have been ordered. Lee inspired with a J/K twist.

Mr. UC, any updates? Change in fit, color, overall feel?

I finally washed mine a week or so ago. The length shrunk just a tad, but it's probably better since before I was wearing them at my waist, which I never do. In other words, they shrunk to the perfect length.

Gonna get a cinch next week. I lost 20 lbs since I ordered them, so the seat is a little roomy. :)

Has anyone recently tried to contact JK? I've emailed them but haven't received a response.

Ditto. Was hoping to get in to see them this week, too. :(

I was there last week. They're very busy w/ some large orders and aren't able to take individual custom orders for the foreseeable future.

Or, you just might have the wrong email address, as I did. PSG would know the right one.
