Shame I acted too fast and bought 2 of the rather nice braided belts at full price. I especially like the brown one with suede details.

@The Shoe Snob Hello, I wear size 40.5 in the Vass F Last. Fits me like a glove. What size would you recommend for your Chelsea boot?

Any chance you could give me some more shoes to compare off of as I am not so familiar with the F last by Vass

@andrel42 do you also take 9.5 in the F last by VASS?

I wear a size 7.5 in the Loake Kempton chukka boot (also another great fitting shoe to the Vass F Last), 7.5 in Barbanera Chet monk show, size 8 in Meermin Hiro last (albeit it is not the best fitting after stretching out over years)

our NGT last is quite hugging and you feel it on the chelsea boot. If you plan to wear these with thicker than normal socks, maybe get the UK8 but if you want to wear with only dress socks then stick to UK7.5 for a snug fit.

Is it more hugging in the mid foot or heel then the TMG? As you know I have those Eldridge on TMG, and lace them all the way due to a skinny midfoot and low instep. There is still nice volume in there but not too much.
I can't go down in size because it won't be long enough.
Will the same size NGT Chelsea work you think?

It is more hugging all of the way around, but especially in the mid foot. I think that the NGT last will suit you a lot better than the TMG did, even in an E width. So yes, stick to UK8 for a better fit.
