I'm seriously considering this blazer, but I can't figure out if I love it or hate it. I travel a lot, and it seems like it would be perfect for that. It even comes with it's own packable bag like an anorak. I just don't want it to seem too strange or too "tech."

Thoughts?

It's ok, but not as a substitute.

First of all that's nota blazer, it is a nice coat though. It looks too much like a suit coat to me and I personaly would not wear it as a sport coat, it is too dressy for that.

Looks to me like someone tried to make a blazer out of a quilted jacket and, well I think it is pretty ugly.

How about "too short"?

How can you criticize the fit/style of the cut when it has a more fundamental problem, it is hideous. The bottom half looks fine to me, but the lapels and breast pocket, pretty much the details that make it a blazer I guess, just look so wrong on a jacket built like that.
What would you use it for? It doesn't look enough like a blazer or odd jacket to wear instead of one surely? and it would not be as practical as a normal padded jacket as it leaves so much of you uncovered.

I do seem to be in the minority though, so maybe I am just unimaginative.
