Is my Filson 257 Genuine? (Zipper says "YKK")

Hi,

I'm new to these forums although I've lurked before. I had a question about a Filson I recently got.

(I accidentally posted this in Style Advice by accident but meant to post here. I will flag the mods to delete the other post).

I got this Filson bag from a friend recently as a gift. I was looking up a review online and noticed that the zippers on most of them say "FILSON", yet mine says "YKK" (see first picture). I know that they used YKK to make them, but is this still authentic?

Your thoughts are much appreciated!

UPDATE:

Got a response from a Filson rep in case anyone is curious in the future. It's authentic. Here's the message:

"Hello,

Thank you for contacting us here at Filson with your inquiry. We used YKK zippers on our gear extensively through the last decade and a half and only recently moved to zippers that say "Filson" on them. From what I can see, that is indeed an authentic Filson 257!"

You are Extremely Lucky to get that YKK bag!
I was driving by a random garage/road side sale in Vermont last weekend and picked up a brand new (time capsule sealed quality) YKK 2005 production Filson 256 Tan Briefcase for dirt cheap (seller had no idea what he had). The YKK bag's quality is way better than the current and the post 2010s Filson bags I have. It is shocking that even the tan color of the canvas looks more Filson-ish than the current Filson bags. There is the even more exclusive Talon Zipper Filsons.
I've been told by Filson collectors, who have been in the business of selling and collecting for decades, that in terms of quality and re-sale worth/value this is the order to go by: Talon Zipper - pre 2000s > YKK Zippers - early 2000s > Filson Logo Zippers - 2008ish to current day. From my collection I can verify the YKK bag is way better in canvas, stitch and leather quality. It even seems more waterproof than the newer Filson bags.
