I suppose if you're having your shirts custom made, you COULD do it?

However, I'm not sure if that is the best way to promote the watch you've designed. Do you really think that will encourage people to ask you about your watch, or will it just make them think you are odd and actually avoid talking about your watch that is in an unusual place (i.e. over the cuff)?

Well, it's certainly not a "classic" look ... perhaps more trendy than stylish. And you're right in that it does scream "talk to me about my watch". I know someone who gets little loops on his (bespoke) shirt cuffs to hold the watch in place. Thanks to this twist he can pull it off, but it's a dangerous path to follow.
