I'm Thinking About Opening a Supper Club

Greetings,

I live in Dallas, Texas and have started thinking about opening a supper club. Not like an old folk's supper club but a nice place that only has two things on the menu, live music, a live band, and an entry fee. If anyone has any ideas on if this is a good idea or not I would appreciate them. I would also like anyone's feedback as to how much something like this would cost.

Thanks,
Matt

When trying to convert passion into business there is but one cardinal rule:

"Do people want to buy what I'm selling where I am?"

A woman once sank her life savings into opening a fish art museum. You heard that right, a gallery consisting solely of fish related artwork. Now had this been in a maritime themed town or similarly artsy place it may have stood a chance and could have even flourished, alas it was in Detroit so you know how that went.

Perhaps test it out by hosting a few dinner parties for friends etc. and see if it can grow - that way to get to know if it's the right thing for yourself as well.
