Particularly enjoy doing my taxes each year when I purge my file cabinet of that year's receipts/invoices/statements, etc.

Same here. I have this pet peeve about letting food go to waste. I get a certain sense of satisfaction cleaning out the computer also. I'm currently in the middle of thesis writing/exams and my desktop is atrocious.

Collector sounds better...

Does it count if I have a collection of used cardboard boxes from things I've ordered online? They're all nested into several large boxes.

What about a collection of old plastic bags?
