First post, and it's a brag. Sorry.

But:

Wolverine 1000mile Brown
Wolverine 1000mile Black
Alden Indy 407
Red Wing 6" Moc Toe 875
Red Wing Iron Ranger 8115
Red Wing Chukka 3141
Red Wing Handsewn 9187
Rising Sun Lineman Boot Brown
Oak Street Bootmakers Camp Boot Navy Chromexcel
Danner Mountain Light Back Bay Edition

...plus a pair of Red Wing 2907s incoming, which I hope to see this week.

Pretty much, it's either a MUSA boot or a Visvim FBT on my feet every single day for the last few years, and going forward.

Which means I should probably get around to purging all the 10-year-old sneakers that I have had in storage for longer than I remember. Anyone want to buy some brightly-colored Nikes?

Nobody else has tiny feet, so nobody would buy them!

Put a small deposit down on the navy boots

I think 1 black, 1 dark blue is enough!:)

I don't need as many boots as that and my feet are too teeny (UK size 2), that most of these wouldn't fit.

I did try a pair of kids Dr Martens, but they crippled me!

The rest of the year I wear Sketchers (plain black nubuck so they don't look like sneakers)

Clarks Desert Boots
LL Bean Maine Hunting Shoe (6" Waxed Canvas)
LL Bean Bean Boot (8" Thinsulate)
Thorogood American Heritage Plain Toe (6" Wedge Sole)
Lucchese 2000 Goatskin Ropers
Keen somethingorother snow boots

It's a suitable stable for Alaska. When we move in a couple years I want a nicer pair like 1000 Miles, but a leather soled boot is useless here 7-8 months of the year

Edit: totally forgot about my beloved Danner Mountain Light 2s, whoops

Common thread for them all?  Each is a quality boot made in the USA -- nothing from overseas.

awesome!

i went the other way and buy quality boots made in germany and great britain, exclusively, nothing from overseas -- with one notable exception: a pair of red wing mocassin toes.

johann ott - combat boots for the german army (bundeswehr) from 1966, black color, new old stock when i bought them
john spencer - ankle hiking/ski boots from 1943, black color
unknown manufacturer - german hiking boots from the 1950s, burgundy color, new old stock when i bought them
unknown manufacturer - german work boots from the 1940s, black color, restored and resoled ... they look wonderful now
unknown manufacturer - german work boots from the 1940s, cherry color
unknown manufacturer - british utility hiking/ski boots cc-41 from 1941, tan color
unknown manufacturer - british veldtschoen boots from the 1930s or 1950s, tan color

red wing - 4183 (j. crew collab), from 2007, briar oil slick

and another three to four pairs on the way soon, more when they arrive.

Wow, great collection

If I wasn't a denimaholic I could have more boots too, but I don't go out everyday and I DO wear jeans everyday!:)
