I'm doing my first race in well over a decade, since my triathlon days. Should be interesting.

2500 today. Not a big day. Outdoor pool lately, which is different.

I swim 2,000 meters in 39 minutes and 53 seconds. No stopping. This is a tough pace for me, but far away from an Olympic Record. Under 40 minutes for 2km is a great workout.

Well, if so, you'd be right. New Paltz, not that far away. Maybe I should do this.

Suckage is very relative in swimming. I once did a mile in 24 minutes, and came in almost nine minutes after the race winner.

I have no problem for 3k, 2k, 1k in a 50meter pool.
Just don't like 25meter pool.

I can live with a short course but I can't stand chlorinated pools.I have a salt water SC lap pool but I mainly swim open water.

The only problem I have with short course is counting laps past 4000 yards. My longest pool swim ever was 10,000.

Been swimming at the Ida Lee pool in Leesburg the last few days. Nice pool. Good number of hot girls.
