I'm not crazy about the look myself but that said I've seen it on certain guys and it can look fairly cool. That's the thing about fashion I suppose, like beauty it's in the eye of the beholder.

Solid shirts are a good start, like white or pink.

I also like rep or emblematic ties.

Nowadays so many thinks go well. Gingham shirts, polo shirts, oxford cloth or summer pinpoint button downs. I suppose even linen or textured open/pebble weave cotton shirts. I wouldnt wear french cuffs with a seersucker.

Shoes: I dont know whether we are talking work or social but I would stick to lace up catoes with some broguing in shades from dark brown calf or suede up to that chestnut brown color. Also penny loafer style slip ons in the same colors. More casual would be spectators in brown or black calf and white suede or cream suede shoes. The black and white ones look best with grey/cream striped seersucker. For cream suede shoes, I dont like the rubber soled bucks, but many do. I prefer white suede shoes with leather soles. I would avoid monk straps for this look.

But you could make the look more hip with black suede slip ons.

Ties: Theoretically, you can wear just about anything but I would avoid the lighter more summery ties which are what make one look ice cream salesman, as touched on above. I prefer darker ties, not quite a slick as Charvet ties but still woven. Printed are fine but still keeping to dark to medium or strong bright colors (Like a scarlet or orange, rather than pastels.

Socks: Strong medium colors or pastels.

Ill leave belts, pocket squares etc for others or for a follow up.

Might I suggest no socks or really low cut socks with your bucks. Also a bowtie would look good. There are also plenty of nice summer hats that I think would go well with a seersucker like a Panama.
