I just tried on one from your recent delivery. Very fine in every respect. The knot is superb, overall proportions are exactly right, and because of the lack of lining, its length comes out quite well for me (I usually take 60-61").
The cloth is a bit of a fingernail trap, like some of Charvet's, but it is most elegant-- even nicer than the pictures.
Today isn't a suit day, so we'll have to wait to find out how it holds up and sheds wrinkles, but I am very encouraged. The SF discount and collapse of the Euro don't hurt, either.

@Concordia thank you for you kind words. You shouldnt have any wrinkles with that specific fabric. Just make sure you un-knot the tie after you used it. I also find that hanging unlined ties with their back side facing upwords, helps the weft and warp relax.

But if for any reason - i cannot imagine which - the tie goes through harsh treatment, then you can use the black paper "tie bone" you received with your necktie. That "tie bone" was an iidea we created to serve two purposes. First reason is to protect the tie and its tip during shipping. Second is, after harsh treatment of the tie, to insert it in the front blade and with a steam iron from distance (!) to slightly steam the fabric. Let the tie cool down and the tie will be as brand new.
