First time wearing this suit, had a cuff made but the pants still seem too long, or possibly a little too wide. However per my tailor's recommendation I did not shorten the coat to make sure I would not lose the pattern so it is a tad to long but I personally don't think it looks that bad(even though I initially wanted to shorten it). Does anyone think it would be worth it to shorten it while having to move the pockets up to match the pattern? I am afraid doing that would make the coat look stumpy, as well as being very expensive.

I wouldn't change it. Luckily the coat has great lines and flows well, particularly when open. I much prefer it to the modern trend of coats only reaching the belt line. And besides, everyone ought to have at least one zoot suit (I kid).

This might be slightly outside the scope of the thread, but what are peoples' favorite pocket squares? As in, what squares do you find yourself reaching for the most? I'm looking to grab another couple of silk squares that can be rearranged to show a variety of different colors. I have a standard white linen, a white linen with blue edge, a green Rubinacci Victory, a Hober Old Map, and a Kent Wang Big Wave.

Any recommendations?
