That said, once again, I would feel *uncomfortable* if it were any shorter. So, there is a range and you have to figure out what makes you feel good—what you feel like you look good in.

What should make you uncomfortable is that shirt, which deserves a fate no less severe than Steve Bannon's liver.

When I think of "severe fate" and "liver", all I can associate with this concept is the myth of Prometheus, who was punished by the gods by being chained to a rock for all eternity, and having his liver eaten daily by an eagle (it would grow back every evening).

Is this what you're projecting?

Sisyphus is more appropriate to this thread surely?

Nah, Prometheus is clearly more appropriate for Bannon.

For Mr. Bannon, his fate as Prometheus seems to have attracted some favor here. For posters on this thread, Sisyphus is probably a more appropriate metaphor - pushing the sartorial boulder up a steep hill, feeling one's style mastery is close to fully achieved, only to have it be rolled down to the bottom with a devastating (or devastatingly accurate) critique.

Watching what is happening with the GOP, I would think it is more appropriate for his boss, but that tale has not yet been fully spun.

Anyway, Sisyphus' myth resonates with a lot of professions (including politics), and applies to this thread's efforts to avoid the same mistakes for thousands of pages. We should see happiness as enlightenment in this cycle, an entire world in the imperfect thread of a wool grenadine tie or the mono no aware of the daily four in hand forever inching closer to perfect, unachievable sprezz.

^ Too much going on here. I would think maybe a solid shirt or PS (or both solid) would help.

Personally, I like the SC and tie pairing.
