It's okay to mix lightweight summer wool or wool-blends with linen jackets IMO. I have trouble pulling off all linen pairings at work sometimes. Linen blend jackets work best for me as conservative business dress rules the day.

Cross-post from KW Affiliate Thread. Just picked up a seersucker suit from Kent Wang. Very impressed with the quality and fit. Fills a nice niche in my wardrobe that SuitSupply (in my experience) did not fill adequately.

@SYCSYC : I gotta be honest, I hate knit ties, but this actually looks pretty good. I stink hard when it comes to fit advice, but your trousers seem to be just a tad on the small side. I like them when they touch the shoe, and just gently crease.

@Roy Al : You look like you should be my boss. Great outfit and fit, in general. Your use of boutonnieres is always inspiring .

@DonCologne : I'm having strange exciting feelings in my heart for your shoes. They are so dang cool! Keep it up!

I decided to test my tailor. I've always wanted high rise, pleated trousers, so I asked my tailor to slim down and taper some baggy 1980's pants.

The journey didn't seem like it would work, but the end product turned out great! Not quite Ambrosi, but close enough

You can see the journey of the different alterations and fittings here. The before and after is truly remarkable.







Even my jacket has pleats!
