Blekit, I would consider looking at other places besides SuitSupply, or at least be much more picky with the cuts you choose. I know that maybe only 3-4 SuSu models really work for me, and I'd never consider buying a jacket or suit that isn't one of those models, regardless of how much I like the fabric.

Many of the cuts aren't particularly flattering on you; you'd definitely benefit from more structured shoulders for example, so Washington would probably look very good on you.

But in general, having a lot of jackets/suits is nice--and it seems like you have quite a few--but there comes a point where you prioritize quality (in this case, what flatters you) over quantity. I feel you've reached that point. Spend $1000 dollars on a La Spalla, or try another brand, rather than buying two Havana's this season. Or just stick with Lazios and Washingtons

I don't plan on buying anymore OTR suits in the foreseeable future, most of the ones I've already own has been bought 1-2 years ago. The only exceptions I've made this season was to try out the longer sizes so I could get the grip on the proper length of the jacket for me. I might make one more when winter comes to try out Washington fit in the winter. I do intend to have first bespoke suit made over the next few months and I'm sure it'll be a huge leap in quality comparing to anything else I have right now. And from what I hear once you go bespoke, you never go back ;)

Regarding shoulder issue you guys mention, it is rooted in kind of tailoring that is mostly available in Poland. The most popular brands offer almost exclusively suits with extremely structured, boxy shoulders which looked ridiculously on me. When I've started building my suit wardrobe I've gone in the opposite direction - thus I've chosen fits with natural shoulders (Havanas, Madisons, etc). Later I've tried cuts like Lazio and Harris and they've become my default choice for suits (3 out of 4 the most recent purchases). However, when it comes to sport coats (utilized for casual/smart-casual outfits) I would still consider an unstructured model as well - if I liked the fabric and pattern.

Today.

Feedback as always appreciated.

This suit's silhouette is not working for you. The jacket being too short and the narrow shoulders make your hips look really wide. Perhaps sizing up could help a bit, since the bowing lapels suggest it's too small overall.

Also, the fuchsia tie really clashes with your complexion.

Staple Charcoal for client meeting. Nothing special but reflects my general feelings toward this particular hump day. Best described in one word - "meh". Apologies for the wrinkle under the right lapel. May need to get that looked at.

Not to pig-pile on you when you've already received a good deal of criticism, but today's jacket does make your hips look wide which, judging from your photos, is not an accurate reflection of your actual build.

Jacket length is one of the more controversial things these days. As much as I am not in favor of the short- for-shortness-sake jacket lengths in current fashion, I do note that many of my older suits, the jackets look too long on me (at 5'9", I should be a regular length suit, but in many models, shorts actually look and fit better). It's all in the proportions . . .

Stop buying from Suit Supply.

I actually chuckled out loud at this. As someone who was previously a devout Suitsupply customer two years ago, I made the switch to MTM and never looked back. One might say that MTM is expensive, but not as expensive as having 5 unworn Suitsupply suits sitting in your closet for two years. Never again.

I tried a few suits on at their Georgetown store and was unimpressed. Suit Supply strikes me as throw-away fashion. Lazio fit is $1000? For that price you can get Canali or occasionally Zegna at end-of-season sales.

As others have mentioned, it's hot in most of the United States. It's hot here and there is smoke and ash from the fire in Soledad Canyon. Even staying near cool colors (like a blue police bus) doesn't help.

Brooks Brothers Madras jacket and anemia pink PPBD shirt, Lands' End tie, Ralph Lauren Polo pocket square, Trafalgar red and blue surcingle belt, Orvis trousers, and Allen-Edmonds tan suede Strandmoks.

For fans of Piece Of People pictures, here it is.

Extra Added Attraction, from one of my friends who works for the railroad, a picture of the last Los Angeles Metrolink Antelope Valley Line train through Soledad Canyon before the line was closed (it's still closed) because of the fire.
