Cheers, @Procrastination - it´s from the MTM tailor shop i work for on saturdays - an unlined, semi-canvassed coat, cut from an Ariston flannel.

Envious.

I would love to have a part-time job working for some sort of haberdasher. I don't have any free-time as is, but I'd make some to work in clothing.

This dude is so busy he is forced to work in the nude.
You take at least one day off a week. Clothed or not

I have to say, I'm delighted by the return of @Tirailleur1 ....

and @in stitches - in your case: good, very good. As usual, the fit is on point. I wasn't quite sure about the colour choices at first, particularly with the choice of square. I mean, I could see what you were doing, but I wasn't sure whether it worked. Now, I think it does. Took me a while... but, I like fits I have to think about, and small deviations and choices are what makes something a level above the uniform.

Braddock and Clags.. Wow. Really, really nice stuff.

Braddock, I especially love the color and fit of that suit. I had a Polo RL (Italy) that was a similar color with peaked lapels (!) that I wore until it could be worn no more. Seriously hunting for something close to the color of yours to replace it...

Whether or not Stitchy is clothed or not on his enforced day off depends on whether he considers getting dressed work or not.

As for the 12 children, when else would he work on that, other than his day off? :satisfied:

Pal Zileri suit
Bespoke shirt
Drake's tie
Eton ps
Allen Edmonds
Vintage cufflinks

A little less loud this time. Love the suit, it has a wool/silk fabric that feels extremely soft to the touch. Only problem is that the fabric wrinkles easily.

SVB, I have my strict no-slubs policy, so I cannot thumb your post. But that looks very nice.

Thanks, Chu! Most of my suits are darker, except one light grey linen that I hardly ever wear. This one in particular is on the dark side of charcoal; it was my wedding suit and tends to be my interview, funeral, formal event choice.

In different light you can see it's not quite to black but it's not far off!

What did you pair it with for your wedding? I am always impressed when someone can make a basic suit move seamlessly between business and pleasure.
