Im assuming you aren’t talking about the tie lol.

In my defense I usually wear them more casually 😇 than this. Still undecided if they are quite right for my style.

Unintentionally looking like a Drakes look book. Balmacaan, beanie, tweed sport coat, wool unicorn pocket square, knit tie, denim shirt, knitwear, denim trousers, Belgian loafers. I missed two details for a full Drakes look. 500 menswear points if you can guess what. 🤣 Also, none of this is from Drakes.

Spoiler: Correct answers.

1. A purple or some other brightly colored sock.

2. Unbutton the collar points of the shirt.

I really appreciate this. I still have a ways to go but I know where I am going now and how to develop my emerging style. You have definitely helped shape that improvement.

Took a picture with the Year Of The Snake photo location at Two Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills even though my Chinese zodiac sign is a pig.

Capas cap, Dunn & Co Harris Tweed jacket, L L Bean OCBD shirt, Brooks Brothers tie, Jim Thompson pocket square, B. Altman & Co. vest, J Crew brown corduroy trousers, and Allen-Edmonds suede shoes.

On a large enough screen some may notice I have a mic on my lapel. While I was out I encountered two Tik-Tok content creators (both of whom had mics) as well as one street fashion photographer.

For some reason people often want to interview me or take pictures of me.

Getting back to the Year Of The Snake, there were also some Year Of The Snake decorations on the fountain on the Wilshire Blvd side of Two Rodeo Drive.

It's been very cold (by local standards) here recently, so there weren't many people out. There have also been fewer tourists since the fires.

I would personally want a little more contrast between the shirt and the jeans but otherwise, I really love this.

Either you keep clothes and you maintain your size over the decades or the
B. Altman vest, and the Dunn jacket were thrifted. Altman closed in 1989,
and Dunn in 1996. I have an Altman very trad tweed sport coat inherited from my father, that is over 40 years old. Very high quality.

I have worn the same size since I stopped growing.

Here's a picture taken on November 26th 2024 (Thanksgiving Day).

I am wearing a brown tweed suit I got at the Brooks Brothers store on the corner of Post and Grant Streets in San Francisco in the Fall of 1965.

I would usually wear this with navy trousers, but opted for black watch cords instead. Similar effect.

Very nice. Lovely cloth on the jacket. Great combination with the trousers and the tie.
