Since nationalization, more and more of the spaces have been abandoned. How sad that such a beautiful space is abandoned. Shame it can’t be repurposed in a way that somehow preserves the retro cool.
Went downtown yesterday to get a copy of the new Metrolink timetable, which went into effect yesterday. Now, instead of most of the trains operating towards downtown Los Angeles in the morning and operating back in the afternoon, trains operate all day in both directions.
Got a copy of the new timetable. In Red China the space behind me would be called "The Great Hall Of Abolished Jobs". Before nationalization hundreds of clerks and dozens of exempts worked here.
Now it's abandoned and everything moveable has been removed.
Also took a picture of some of the new mid day trains.
I will now be able to go to Riverside so I will soon be posting pictures taken at the Mission Inn.
