The balckwatch pants are absolutely legendary! Love it!!! And I’ll say I like the loafers just because I know suagrbutch doesn’t 😂
I think @sugarbutch likes them, but just a little bit.

The tie knot came out really well. I'm super happy with it. I'm not sure about the brown shoes. Too light? Also, tie is askew - in a rush this morning.

I think that the tie gets lost against the shirt - too close in color, and with a pattern, but that's my personal opinion. The shoes work fine, for a spring day, as much as non-black shoes with a navy suit can be a bugaboo for some (myself not included).

The weather in NYC is about nigh unto perfect - sunny, not too warm, not too cool, low humidity, a perfect day in which to get dressed up. As it is, I've a members' evening to attend at the Morgan Library, my local cultural dispensary - any excuse to get dressed up is a good one on a nice day.

Today's shirt is an experiment - my first usage of a web-based MTO shirtmaker, W H Taylor in the UK, which friends of mine recommended to me. So far, the results are most satisfactory - the sizing of the shirt is accurate, the fabric is nice, and all the detailing that I requested was done correctly. I would be tempted to indulge myself more, save for my already overcrowded shirt rack.

Suit - Ralph Lauren Purple Label
Shirt - W H Taylor
Tie - Charvet
Cufflinks - Deakin & Francis
Braces - Paul Stuart
Pocket square - Robert Talbott
Shoes - Septieme Largeur, Paris

As always, a true model of sartorial excellence. Thank you for your almost 20 years of tireless effort..(and making the rest of us feel inadequately dressed) 😅

Thank you for your kind compliments, though reminding me of the number of years that I've been posting does make me feel old (not that I'm not, but still . . . ;) ).
