Great outfit. Is that the Ralph Lauren belt buckle that came on an alligator belt? If so, may I ask where you got the new belt strap from?

Curious how much (if any) thought y'all put into tie selection for interviews. Any rationale, beyond preference/superstition?
I try to pick something that won't be distracting, but still visually interesting. For me this ends up being tones of navy or burgundy in either textured solids or block/repp stripes.

Not a whole lot, certainly try to keep it basic. This was borderline a bit too much imo. But I’m not in a formal office such as a law firm or government agency. I would certainly stick w a basic navy stripe or textured navy tie if I were to work in a more formal environment.
