Although everyone knows where in Sawtelle Marilyn Monroe lived when she first came to Los Angeles (on Corinth and Nebraska half a block from where I lived for twenty years) and where Robert Redford lived when he was a little kid (on Tennessee near Bundy a few blocks south of where I live now), no one seems to know where in Sawtelle Wyatt Earp's illegal saloon was.

I have always imagined Wyatt Earp's illegal saloon was on Sawtelle Blvd in the building behind me in this picture.

My uniform for this week’s on-site in Seattle.

I feel it was acceptable, but would have profited from a pocket square, as it otherwise wants a bit for contrast. The pants are also slimmer and shorter than I’d like, but all that can be done on the former front has been done, and the latter isn’t too bad over boots.

What my wife and I were wearing today.

Very nice. A great classic, navy jacket and grey trousers, but mostly you see a charcoal shade: as I see this medium grey looks so much better. Also, perfect length and width. I also prefer the brown shoes over black ones.

The lady looks good as well.

You can find me in the club. Are you a member, bub? I decided to wear black shoes instead of brown. What do you think?

Black shoes look good here, although dark brown wouldn't look bad either. Certainly a classic and a pleasant colour scheme, but metal buttons and tie with small figures are not my liking (you already know).
