I tried something a little different today! I’m really not a big fan of denim, but something about this kinda struck me. I paired a herringbone jacket with light denim and loafers to create (I hope) a balance of elevated casual. Of course, the denim could be shortened, hence my little cuff at the bottom. So looks will be improved, but I’m at least liking the concept of this!

No offence, but unbuttoned shirt looks ridiculous.

Was up way too late last night struggling with my site. That partially explains the no tie and ratty beard.
Sport coat is light grey, but the lighting was a little odd this morning so it appears brown. This is another one of my cotton sport coats that hardly gets any wear. I don’t go into the office much during the hottest months of the summer so I don’t really have much need for cotton sport coats. My lighter wool jackets work fine and look better. Maybe this one is destined for the donation box.

I like that sport coat. It looks like a jersey knit cotton. I use to have one that I wore often, but always casually like a cardigan. I really liked it. I usually didn't wear a pocket square with it to add to the casual nature.
