Looks good but do you got any brighter browns shoes to go with that banging tie? It is almost summer!
With a navy suit? Definitely not.Looks good but do you got any brighter browns shoes to go with that banging tie? It is almost summer!
I guess to me the image makes it look brighter than navy. With a navy suit? Definitely not. View attachment 1962299
I suspect this will be an instance of different strokes for different folks but I find anything on the lighter side of medium brown let alone light brown, bright brown or tan to be a very bad look in all but the most limited of circumstances. Personally wouldn’t wear anything lighter than EGs dark oak with any shade of blue be it bright, dark, RAF, navy etc.I guess to me the image makes it look brighter than navy.
Would there be a color you would wear a lighter shade of brown shoes with or perhaps a circumstance? Is it just a preference?I suspect this will be an instance of different strokes for different folks but I find anything on the lighter side of medium brown let alone light brown, bright brown or tan to be a very bad look in all but the most limited of circumstances. Sure - I think they can work with a very pale shade of gray (especially if it has any warm tones in it rather than cool tones,) a traditional white/pale blue seersucker, perhaps a warm ivory or white.Would there be a color you would wear a lighter shade of brown shoes with or perhaps a circumstance? Just trying to better understand since you seem to adhere to more conservative and traditional standards which are the foundation for everything.
Sock to tile matching was unintentional.

I really like this look. They only think that would make it better is a dimple in the tie, but clearly not everyone's cup of tea.
Getting a little racy with the handkerchief...Crisp + creamy

This is a great jacket, one of your best I think. I think to elevate it, darker shoes, maybe an oxblood/black loafer or dark brown suede would work? The shoes contrast against the formality and colour palette of the outfit as per your discussion with @Jmr928Been a while for a tie. Post church.
