bought 2 bold striped shirts recently and found them very hard to pair with (at least for me), I think solid color jacket is probably the way to go but tried something different today, not sure if it’s too much 😹
PS: finally shorten the sleeve on this jacket and I think I need to press these pants.

I think you're on the right track leaning into the boldness. This combo has a high degree of difficulty, and you pulled it off..

Back in tweed. This vintage Harris Tweed jacket feels like it was made for me, though the quarters are slightly more open than I would like. The pants are my usual dark brown corduroys. They are a rich, dark chocolate color that doens't photograph well. The belt was crooked, but I only noticed after having the pictures taken; oh well... Also wearing a tie clip that has been my dad's, and then mine, for the past few decades.
